It’s so easy to fill those extra couple of hours of daylight, but I invite you instead to keep the space — to do what intuitively feels right in that moment, rather than jam-packing our schedules and tiring ourselves out before summer has even arrived.
May is a month of bloom and beauty. Sea thrift comes into bloom along the coastal cliffs, and wild garlic sprouts up in the woodlands. Can you feel the energy and inspiration that the sun brings? Don’t overcommit — savour it and notice what energises you.
Grab a pen and paper, find a cosy little nook, and enjoy these journal prompts:
What energises me naturally?
What drains me — and why am I still holding onto it?
Where am I overcommitted?
What would “gentle progress” look like this month?
I hope this month you feel the sun across your skin, love in your heart, and wild garlic pesto in your tummies.
