Unwind to Charge Up

Date : Friday 26th April

Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Investment: £30

The ultimate chilled Friday Night!

Not your average yin yoga and lie down, but a chance for you to melt away the stresses of the past week and beyond. Join Emily for two hours of myofascial yin yoga, an exploration of acupressure points using props combined with long-held yin postures to massage, unwind and release the tension you are carrying. This extended practice will give you simple effective tools that equip you to ease chronic gripping in both your body and mind.

To top it all off, we will finish with a deeply nourishing yoga Nidra, a type of meditation also known as yogic sleep. A meditation that reconnects you to your whole body through imagining, sensing and feeling. Yoga Nidra is said to be four times more restorative than sleep, yes FOUR times!

So get ready, to charge your batteries this Friday night and be prepared to tuck yourself up for a well deserved rest afterwards. You can even come in your PJs.

Self Care Friday Club

As well as physical, mental and emotional health, yoga gives recognition to the importance of community or sangha and self-growth for a well-balanced life. The Monthly Friday Club with Yuko is a space for us to gather, grow, connect and practice yoga.

The first part of the Friday Club will focus on a community space focused on self-development, reflection, sharing experiences and connecting with like-minded people. You can be as actively involved in the group conversation as you wish and feel comfortable with, there is no pressure or judgement. You can bring a flask of tea/coffee, (not too messy) light snacks, journaling notebooks, but most importantly your wonderful selves. Yuko will bring in a variety of creative tools each month that will bring intention and focus to our conversations and reflections.

The second part of the Friday Club will focus on practicing yoga. Expect a combination of breathing exercises, self-massage, mindfulness, movement, stretching and relaxation.
